From the 16th (that's today!) to the 19th, the ride has smoothed out! Apart from a small amount of standard locomotive rocking, the Trahere is back on (its nonexistent) track.
Unfortunately, something else seems to have happened instead. For a start, instead of the standard black nothing outside the windows, passengers will able to view scenery which seems to change - sometimes a few times in a single minute, or maybe only once every few hours. Whether it's peaceful countryside or a war-ravaged battleground outside, there's still no tracks, and nothing outside seems to affect the Trahere; if passengers see anyone outside the train, they won't even seem to notice the Trahere barrellling past them.
Secondly, and perhaps most importantly - some (or all?) of the passengers are hallucinating. They are hallucinations, right? Illusions of friends and enemies, dead or alive, are cropping up, invisible to others; although the Staff seem to be unaffected.
Speaking of the Staff, Carter seems to have vanished. Odd, that. And if it looks like someone's been in the passengers' cabins while they were unattended, don't worry about it. It's probably nothing.

{This is fully optional, and leads on from the first plot from the 13th-15th. This is also relatively important to the main plot, but you'll need to dig deep to work out the causes. Any questions?}
