EDIT: So, apparently the event ended today. Derp. My fail for not checking the calendar. STILL - if anyone wants to backdate anything, I would certainly be up for it. And, IIRC, we have another event coming up fairly soonish. If anyone would like to use this post to plot and put forth ideas as to what their character is likely to do or give a status update on how they're doing, who they know, please feel free!

So.

We now have snakes.

And, because somebody had to say it - why did it have to be snakes?

*cough*

Now might be a good opportunity to take a little roll call. Some of these snakes are most likely going to be poisonous, after all. So, out of professional concern, I'm curious.

Who among us has the ability to treat poisonous snake bites? Or deal with the symptoms without antivenom, since some of the characters might not know that "accosting a Staff member" is the best way to get things. Those of us who are supernatural or otherwise tougher than average might be able to survive a bite without dying, after all, but it doesn't mean it won't lay them up for a bit.

Besides, this might be a good time to buddy up a bit anyway in general. No one should sleep alone in this, after all, a lesson Giles has already learned the hard way. 

To start with, however, I will say that Giles has experience with snake bites and a variety of different venoms. It's not something that ever comes up in canon, no, but it's very likely to have been part of his training as a Watcher. So he might  be able to treat any infection and fever to the point that death is unlikely, although even he's limited without antivenom from Staff, as healing magic is a bitch in his world.
